Authentication
Since 2015, Fundacion Sansó has provided authentication services to collectors and sellers of works by Juvenal Sansó. It has successfully partnered with respected art galleries, the country’s biggest auction houses, other private art authenticating bodies such as the families of National Artists Abdulmari Imao, Federico Alcuaz, Presidential Medal of Merit Awardee Ramon Orlina, as well as the National Commission for Culture and the Arts in combating art forgery.
It has a stringent panel of authenticators who must be unanimous in judging an artwork authentic before it is certified.
Its Certificate of Authenticity (CoA) has a security paper format with anti-counterfeiting features including pre-printed Serial Numbers, Micro-printed texts, and numbered Holographic Stickers, random-paired numbers, and UV ink marks making them very secure from forgery.
The foundation is the only institution given the authority by Juvenal Sansó to authenticate and issue Certificates of Authenticity for his artworks.
