About Fundacion Sansó
Fundacion Sansó is a not-for-profit institution created with the intent of protecting, preserving, and promoting the artistic legacy of Juvenal Sansó, a multi-awarded visual artist with a stellar international career spanning more than 70 years. As a painter and printmaker, Juvenal Sansó has been meritoriously awarded the King’s Cross of Isabela by the Spanish King Juan Carlos on January 8, 2007, the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Art et des Lettres by the Ministry of Culture and Communications of the Republic of France on February 26, 2008 and the Philippine Presidential Medal of Merit in May 20, 2006.
Founded in 2014 by Mr. Sansó’s friends and supporters, Fundacion Sansó manages more than 600 paintings, prints, textile designs, opera set designs, sketches, painted slides, and the personal archive of Sansó, and presents these to the public through curated exhibitions, public programs, and publications.
Aside from running the museum, Fundacion Sansó is an active art center dedicated to helping the cultural sector of the country through the development of multifaceted projects, scholarships, and grants.
Fundacion Sansó has always been cognizant of the importance of successful partnerships. By partnering with people, institutions, and brands which share the same values for excellence, great service and art, Fundacion Sansó expands its reach to various audiences while allowing our partners to share in the legacy of Mr. Sansó, and our own loyal community.
