Educational Grants
Bulacan State University, College of Architecture and Fine Arts (BSU - CAFA)
Since 2019, Fundacion Sanso provided BSU - CAFA with a Fine Arts Students Stipend Grant which has benefitted over 30 students, as of 2023. This is a basic monthly stipend which is meant to supplement their school allowances for them to be able to acquire art materials or spend on daily needs. Graduating beneficiaries are also included in a special exhibition held at the museum to introduce them to galleries and collectors to help them start their professional art careers.
University of the Philippines, College of Fine Arts
Since 2023, working with the families of National Artists Abdulmari Imao and Federico Aguilar Alcuaz, Fundacion Sanso raised funds for a Thesis Research and Thesis Production Grant. Inspired by the late artist and professor Leo Abaya, this grant is administered by the UP College of Fine Arts Foundation.
Far Eastern University - Institute of Architecture and Fine Arts (FEU - IARFA)
In 2023, Fundacion Sanso entered an agreement with the FEU - IARFA to help develop its Fine Art students with a Best Thesis award, as well as special student exhibitions geared towards assisting them in their professional art careers.
Artist Grants
Travel Grants for Local Artists In partnership with Linangan Artists Residencies and the Cultural Center of the Philippines
Since 2022, Fundacion Sanso provides local travel grants for select beneficiaries of Linangan Artists Residencies and the Cultural Center of the Philippines’ 13 Artists Awards who need assistance to avail of the programs.
Limbag Kamay Online Print Fair
A grant for the first ever online art fair devoted to Printmaking in partnership with Printmakers Association of the Philippines (now called A/P) and Cartellino, which resulted in a strong education program which covered printmaking, collecting and conserving prints, as well as regional practices of printmaking during the weeklong affair. Another great result was the production grant for 8 tabletop printing presses that are currently being distributed to selected art groups around the Philippines.
