The museum was established to showcase works of Juvenal Sanso and also serves as the authenticating center for the works of the modernist painter. Changing exhibitions are in partnership with institutions to support art education and promote the cultural legacy of selected Filipino artists.

A museum gift shop sells interesting and artful merchandise. There is also a coffee space that you can enjoy within the museum. Each purchase from this museum funds the scholarship and art grants of Fundacion Sanso.
