Research Grant

At Fundacion Sansó, we deeply recognize the vital role that research and historical inquiry play in enriching the art community and shaping a more informed, connected society. Through our Research Grant Program, we support invited writers and academic researchers whose work contributes meaningfully to the understanding of art, culture, and history

In addition to financial assistance, the museum provides comprehensive support to ensure the integrity and depth of each research project. This includes access to archival materials, studio visits, and one-on-one guidance to help build a strong foundation for credible, thoughtful creative research.

Through this initiative, we hope to cultivate a culture that values research as a cornerstone of creative and academic practice. We aim to inspire future generations of artists, writers, curators, and researchers to engage deeply with their craft and communities.

All intellectual property and credit for the research remain with the writer, in full recognition of their valuable contribution.

For every research, the museum provides the following:
- Php 50,000 - grant
- Php 5,000 - reimbursable transportation fund.
- Assistance to studio visits.
- A research talk.
Due to our limited resources, our research grant is currently by invitation only. However, as we continue to grow, we look forward to opening more doors for future collaborations.
