Scholarship Program

Through the dedication of our museum’s fundraising programs—such as the museum shop, partnerships, and authentication services—Fundacion Sanso has provided support in four universities in the Philippines through scholarships, helping countless emerging artists unlock their potential.

BSU Scholars of Fundacion Sanso

Bulacan State University

The foundation's first university partnership was with BSU–CAFA. The program provides stipend allowances to selected Fine Arts students, helping support their daily needs and the cost of art materials as they pursue their growth as young artists.

  • From 2019 to 2025, Fundacion Sansó has allocated Php 1.2 million to support the Bulacan State University Stipend Program. In addition, the foundation provides free art fair tickets, workshop slots, and access to internal activities—all designed to nurture and support the artistic growth of student artists.

  • Since the program began, the museum has celebrated 39 graduates from the BSU–CAFA Stipend Program, many of whom are now practicing artists.

  • As of today, the museum continues its partnership with the school and will soon celebrate the graduation of six new scholars. Following this, we will open a new set of slots for students currently studying at BSU.

University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts - Diliman (UP- CFA)

Juvenal Sanso is an alumni of UP College of Fine Arts under the mentorship of Fernando Amorsolo, Irineo Miranda, Dominador Castaneda, and Guillermo Tolentino. Way before the museum was founded, Sanso has been supporting students from UP by secretly giving funds to the registrar and asking them to distribute it to students in need.

Fundacion Sanso is now continuing the practice of Senor Sanso by donating funds for Thesis Grants, and Scholarship Stipend Program.

    • Fundacion Sansó has allocated Php 450,000 to the UP-CAF Thesis Award Grant, benefiting five students as of 2025. This initiative is made possible through the generous support of the Alcuaz Estate and Imao Estate. The award has been named the Leo Abaya Thesis Award in honor of the late professor from the UP Diliman College of Fine Arts, recognizing his invaluable contribution to the program.

    • Through the Rega Project, a donation of Php 1,000,000 has been made to the university for the Scholarship Stipend Program. The selection process is currently ongoing, and further details will be announced soon.

    • As of today, the museum is still in partnership with the school and will continue on providing exhibition opportunities and immersive workshop within the art scene.

    • The university and museum are in the process of selecting a group of students who will receive the scholarship stipend fund.

Far Eastern University Institute of Architecture and Fine Arts (FEU-IARFA)

The museum’s scholarship program addresses the unique needs of each community. In partnership with FEU-IARFA, the foundation offers support through Thesis Award Grants, exhibitions, and educational workshops.

FEATI University - School of Fine Arts

Due to the expansion of our program, we were pleased to offer a partial scholarship to one student from FEATI University to support his studies. Hans Tejada is a promising young artist, actively involved both on and off campus in the arts. He has already participated in various exhibitions early in his academic journey and recently took part in Art in the Park 2025, where he had the opportunity to sell his works and introduce his art to collectors.

Fundacion Sansó is committed to providing Hans with the continued support he needs to complete his studies and nurture his artistic growth.
